Avery Hill Publishing are delighted to announce the release of “Infrastructure”, by illustrator and comic creator Tim Bird (Grey Area, It’s A Bird’s Life), the latest instalment in our AHArts line.
Based in his bold, distinctive line style, married to his fascination with the hidden or ignored treasures of London, Tim has documented elements of the capital’s transport infrastructure, as informed by his own explorations and travels within the M25.
The result is seventeen beautiful illustrations rendered in a distinct and vibrant colour pallet, coupled with Tim’s thoughts and reasons for choosing each subject. Printed in full colour across forty pages in square format, the first print of “Infrastructure” is limited to an edition of 100, each numbered and signed by the artist, and available from the Avery Hill online shop.
To accompany the release of “Infrastructure”, Tim is also making available prints of four of his favourite illustrations from the book, each one limited to ten copies. Giclee printed on 12inx12in Hahnemuhle German Etching 310gsm board, each print will be individually numbered and signed by Tim, and are available from the Avery Hill online shop.
